If you still don\u2019t know what an SUV is, read on.<\/p>\n<h3>What is an SUV?<\/h3>\n<p>A Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) refers to a car with a truck-like built and \u201cutility\u201d but drives like a sporty vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>It is bigger than your average car with a raised roof and higher ground clearance to make it easier for off-road driving over rugged terrain.\u00a0 The higher seat position also gives the driver more visibility of the road ahead. SUVs typically have five or seven seats which make them great for ferrying people around comfortably.<\/p>\n<p>You may also come across the term <a href=\"https:\/\/sdmotors.sg\/the-drive-hive\/sav-sac-or-suv-whats-different-about-bmw-x-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) or Sports Activity Coupe (SAC)<\/a> with BMW models.
