Imagine getting behind the wheel of your favourite high performance car and tearing through the legendary Salzburgring racetrack in Salzburg, Austria. What a thrill!
And this high-octane experience was what customers of Performance Motors Limited (PML) enjoyed during the PML BMW M Experience.
This exclusive overseas drive getaway for its BMW owners, held from 21–24 October 2025, was part of PML’s efforts to deepen its relationship with customers through curated lifestyle experiences – from gastronomy and golf to drive getaways.

The trip was organised as part of Performance Motorsports Circle, a programme launched by PML to promote motorsports and to build a vibrant driving community in Singapore.

The PML BMW M Experience brought together BMW M customers of PML and Auto Selection (a sister company and the only authorised certified pre-owned BMW dealership in Singapore) for an unforgettable trip that blended innovation, culture, gastronomy and adrenaline.
Welcome to a Neue Klasse
The first stop was the home of BMW in Munich, Germany. The participants were brought on an exclusive guided tour of BMW Welt and the BMW Museum, which deepened their appreciation of 109 years of BMW brand heritage.
They had the distinct honour of being welcomed by Ms Ritu Chandy, Senior Vice President, and Mr Sebastian Ahlers, Regional Area Manager, BMW Group, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa – a reflection of the close and longstanding ties between PML and BMW. PML has been a trusted dealer for the brand in Singapore for 46 years.
The group were also among the first BMW owners from Singapore to see the new BMW iX3 up close and personal. The fully electric BMW iX3 is the first model in the revolutionary Neue Klasse, and marks a new milestone of electrification, digitalisation, and circularity for the BMW brand. They were also thrilled to experience the new generation of interior design and the BMW Panoramic Vision first-hand from inside the BMW iX3.
The new BMW iX3 will arrive in Singapore in 2026.
Fuelled by gastronomy
Food is a shared passion, and the trip provided the participants with exceptional culinary experiences at some of the most iconic restaurants in Munich, and the next stop at Salzburg.
These included the legendary Hofbräuhaus München, a cultural symbol of Bavarian hospitality; St Peter Stiftskulinarium, believed to be the oldest restaurant in Central Europe, and the panoramic Hohensalzburg Fortress Restaurant which overlooks Salzburg.
Taking on the Salzburgring
The main trip highlight was the rare opportunity to take on the Salzburgring racetrack. With its long straights and fast curves, the iconic 4.2km racetrack is perfect for letting the participants experience high-performance driving, speed and adrenaline up close and personal.
Taking the wheel of the BMW M4 Competition, the 13 drivers in the group had an exhilarating challenge with timed slalom runs, double lane changes, and controlled drifts and oversteering – putting both precision and performance to the test.
The driving experience wrapped up with each driver receiving a certificate of completion for the BMW M Race Track Training.
More drive adventures ahead
PML has promised more of such getaways to fuel the driving passion of its BMW owners. These include its popular curated convoy drives up to Malaysia. Road trips in the past have included drives to Johor, Desaru, Penang and Ipoh.
Realising the shared interests among its BMW owners, PML has also combined the drive experience with golfing escapades – and food – to better deliver the exceptional lifestyle experiences that its customers have come to expect from their preferred BMW dealer.
