Performance Motors Ltd (PML) has recently unveiled its dazzling new flagship BMW Motorrad showroom, situated in the bustling Ubi automotive district. This showroom isn’t just a space to display bikes; it is touted as the new home for riders and Motorrad fans.

More than retail: A Motorrad lifestyle destination

Located at 1 Ubi Road 4, the showroom is more than just a retail space. Spanning an impressive 5000 square feet, it is designed to offer visitors an immersive and personalised experience through cutting-edge design and a welcoming ambience.

Visitors are greeted by a curated collection of up to 18 bikes on display, with something to ignite any rider’s passion. Guests are encouraged to explore the showroom freely, getting up close and personal with their favourite models.

But the experience doesn’t end with the bikes. Guests can also explore the heritage showcase area, delve into the rich history of Motorrad, and browse the parts counter stocked with a wide range of accessories. Complimentary snacks and beverages add to the welcoming atmosphere, creating the perfect environment for enthusiasts to mingle and share their passion for all things Motorrad.

Adding an extra touch of luxury is the showroom’s exclusive delivery lounge. This private space is especially designed to celebrate the moment when customers receive their new Motorrad bikes.

Building community, one ride at a time

Lawrence Tan, Managing Director of PML, envisions the new Motorrad showroom as a vibrant hub for building the Motorrad community and fostering connections among motorcycle enthusiasts.

He shares: “Our flagship Motorrad showroom in Ubi solidifies PML’s position as the trusted BMW importer. This dedicated space will offer convenient one-stop access to the finest Motorrad bikes, premium products, and top-notch service.”

Mr Tan added: “We recognise the strong bond among motorcycle riders in Singapore, who enjoy riding and connecting with fellow enthusiasts. That’s why we are committed to organising more community-building activities, such as rides to Malaysia and Thailand, to ignite the passion for riding and strengthen our sense of togetherness.”

PML has been organising various road trips for its Motorrad customers during the year, including a two-day rideaway to Malacca in September as well as an exhilarating 12-day journey to the north-eastern region of Thailand in November 2023. More such road trips are in the works for 2024.

New PML contactless service centre

On top of Motorrad’s new flagship showroom, the Ubi facility houses a new Performance Motors Contactless Service Centre. This additional location for PML’s aftersales service of BMW cars includes a full workshop on site that caters for BMW’s electric range.

With features like contactless drop-off and collection with online check-in facilities, as well as afterhours servicing, customers can expect a seamless and hassle-free experience when their send their cars in for servicing and maintenance checks.

Mr Tan said: “By expanding our geographical network to Ubi, we are improving access to one-stop servicing for our BMW customers. This is especially to cater to the growing customer base in the east and north-east region of Singapore. This is where we see younger families and digitally savvy customers.”

With this new Ubi showroom as well as its existing BMW showroom and workshop at Alexandra Road, PML is ensuring that it well-positioned to reach and serve a broader customer base, spanning the entire island from east to west.
