What an aMazing feat! A new Singapore Book of Records has been set for the “Largest Gathering of BMW M Cars in Singapore”.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations to mark the launch of BMW M GmbH in Singapore, BMW Singapore and Performance Munich Autos (PMA) had brought more than 100 BMW M owners and their friends together at Gillman Barracks on 22 May 2022. The idea? To form the number ‘50’ with their BMW M cars.
A total of 55 cars was used for the formation. It surpassed PMA’s previous record of 41 cars that was set in February 2019. This new achievement has since been recognised by the Singapore Book of Records.
Arnt Bayer, Managing Director of Performance Motors Limited, was amazed by the effort from the BMW M community.
He noted: “It is always exciting to bring passionate motorsport enthusiasts together in one place. PMA is proud to celebrate this benchmark event with yet another record-breaking car formation
He added: “Just as this formation would not have been possible without these 55 BMW M customers, we wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone without the M community’s continuous support.”
Fans of BMW M cars had the opportunity to test drive the latest BMW and BMW M models and connect with the BMW M community at a private breakfast event as part of the celebrations. They were also the first to view a Singapore-exclusive special edition of the BMW M3 Competition and the BMW M4 Competition.
