Sport a new look with the BMW X3 and X4

Experience counts.

Drivers who love a more powerful presence on the road will go far with the BMW X3 and BMW X4. The latest generation of these two popular X range vehicles has a refreshed design, improved equipment, and an optimised range structure.

The BMW X3 has a larger kidney grille, flatter headlights and a new front apron while new graphics have been applied to the rear lights.  There are also larger flush-fitting free-form tailpipe trims that emphasise the robust and sporty appearance of this Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).

Its coupé counterpart, the BMW X4, adopts the new front end. This Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) has the added accentuation of the exclusive BMW mesh kidney grille as a distinguishing feature.  At the rear, flat full LED highlight the vehicle width and protrude strikingly in a three-dimensional design.

Hybrid technology for all engines

In Singapore, the BMW X3 and BMW X4 use 48-volt mild hybrid technology on all four- and six-cylinder engines. This helps to lower fuel consumption and increase responsiveness and driving comfort.

For those looking at electric vehicles, the plug-in hybrid BMW X3 xDrive30e enables an electric range of up to 50 kilometres.

More control and comfort in the cabin

A free-standing, 12.3-inch central Control Display is now standard for the BMW X3 and BMW X4.  The centre console accommodates the newly designed control island.  The engine start button, gear selector lever, buttons for the start/stop system, electric parking brake, hill descent control and other driving experience functions as well as the BMW iDrive Controller can all be found on the control island.

Additional functions are offered by the standard Ambient Light, which features contour lighting above the decorative trim in the dashboard. The ambient lighting shines gently downwards below the accent trim to create a relaxing atmosphere in the interior.

Smarter connectivity and assistance

With smart and seamless in-vehicle connectivity, drivers can easily access music, media or messaging apps (Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Spotify, Google Maps and the like) while driving.

The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant has also gained additional capabilities in the new BMW X3 and BMW X4.  Naturally spoken instructions can be used to regulate the air conditioning, roll the windows up and down, or change the driving experience switch modes.  It can also read out the latest news using the News app.

With Remote Software Upgrade, drivers can easily keep their BMW X3 and BMW X4 updated “over the air” with different content from new services and improved vehicle features for example.
